Stringer to Stringer
Four sides exposed — top, bottom, front and back. Standard width is 2-1/4″ thick with options for larger sizes. Treads can sit on metal plates, have plates recessed into their underside, or be built around a plate.
Single Stringer
Five or six sides exposed. Standard width 2-1/4″ thick.
