Information
Everything you need to know about choosing, installing and maintaining your Wide Plank Hardwood flooring.
Solid vs. Engineered
We manufacture both solid and engineered flooring. The sub-floor, heating system and installation area determine which is right for you.
Solid Hardwood

Made from a single plank and precisely milled to a thickness of 3/4 of an inch. A timeless choice for traditional installations.
Engineered Hardwood

Manufactured with a thick layer of real hardwood bonded to high-quality Birch multi-plywood, creating an overall thickness just under 3/4 of an inch.
Maintenance & Cleaning
Proper care ensures your hardwood floors look beautiful for decades. Follow these guidelines based on your floor’s finish type.
Oiled Wood Floors
Daily: Vacuum or Sweep
Remove dust, sand and dirt that may become abrasive to the floor.
Bi-Weekly: Damp Mop
Damp mop with Euku Care Emulsion — mix 1 tablespoon to 1 litre of lukewarm water. Do not soak the floor. Allow to dry completely before walking on it.
1–5 Years: Refreshing
Refresh your hardwood floor with Euku Refresher. Clean the floor thoroughly, apply with a cloth, allow to soak in for 30 minutes, then polish out remaining excess. Do not allow moist oil to remain on the surface.
Water-Based Polyurethane Floors (Strato)
Water-based polyurethane floors are easy to maintain, but it is very important to follow the cleaning instructions and only use an approved cleaning product.
Regular Vacuuming
Use an upright canister with floor brush attachment. If using a power head, turn off the rotating brush to prevent scratching.
Routine Dusting
Use a dry, clean Fiber Pad Mop. Wipe up food and spills immediately with a dampened absorbent cloth.
Cleaning
Use Euku Clean — premix 50ml of cleaner to 8–10 litres of warm water. Clean with a dampened (not soaking wet) Fiber Pad Mop. Allow to air dry completely.
