Welcome To
WIDE PLANK HARDWOOD LTD.

Wide Plank Hardwood Ltd. is North America's leading custom manufacturer of wide plank, longer length hardwood flooring, producing some of the very best wide plank flooring throughout Canada and the Western United States.

In keeping with the original wide plank flooring style, Wide Plank Hardwood believes the use of wider and longer length planks reduces the number of end and edge seams, creating a more authentic looking floor.

We produce precisely milled wide plank hardwood floors from new, reclaimed, and recycled wood, in a wide variety of species, with the added specialty of long lengths.

To address each clients’ individual preferences, a number of options can be added to any floor such as antiquing, distressing, wire-brushing, hand beveling and hand scraping to ensure each floor is unique.

We are well represented in local markets within British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario, as well as south of the border.  As an exporter, our beautiful floors can be seen in countries such as Greece and Austria.  Germany has some of our “Landhausdielen”.

Wide Plank Hardwood is dedicated to the concept of ecologically sensitive business practices which minimize our impact on the environment.  Research is continually under way to produce long lasting, beautiful, ecologically responsible hardwood flooring.

An environmentally friendly stain and German made hardwax oil is hand-rubbed into each plank enhancing the natural beauty and texture of the wood, at the same time allowing for easy maintenance and repair.

When our pre-finished floors are properly cared for, independent German tests show this finish will last for generations, further reducing the use of our precious natural resources.
